Co-Founder

In early 2019 I co-founded the San Diego Resistance Revival Chorus. We are a collection of multilingual, multigenerational & interfaith individuals who sing protest songs in the spirit of joy and resistance. We cultivate community through musical solidarity founded in social and environmental activism, justice, empowerment and service. Each member enriched the chorus with their unique story and because of our unity, we have been able to spark positive change in our city through the healing power of music.

Accomplishments

• Created the chapter model, recruited all members, directed all chorus rehearsals, produced benefit concerts in collaboration with local social impact organizations in San Diego to raise over $23,000 in the first year
